Q: What Is Included?

All of our wedding package includes:

  • Coverage by a professional photographer and an assistant photographer
  • 60-80 edited high resolution digital photos per hour based on the package

Q: What package would you usually recommend to your clients?

We would say if you are looking for a late day start, such as getting ready around 2 o’clock, heading out for some photos, and then to the ceremony/reception, a package around 6 hours is adequate. Otherwise, if you plan to start your day around 8am and end want some reception coverage until 8pm, a 12 hour package is appropriate.

Q: If it rains, where can we do the photos of the wedding part?

We have a good number of places in mind. We can discuss this in our coffee meet!

Q: How long would you take to post process the photos.

6-8 weeks is the average turnaround time for weddings between May to September. It will probably be less for wedding outside of the busy season.

Q: How many photos would I get in total?

From experience, we average around 60 fully edited photos per hour of shooting. Give a take 10-20 photos.

Q: How many wedding have you shot overall?

We have made weddings as our full-time profession, we have shoot over 100 weddings since 2012.

Q: Have you shot any destination weddings?

We have shot in Napa Valley, Seattle, Kelowna and Osoyoo.

Q: What equipment do you use?

We use all Nikon equipment, a detailed list and description is over at our blog site.
At Hidden Design Photography, we the top-of-the-line equipment to ensure
we capture your day with a high-end finish. Our primary cameras are
professional grade: Nikon D3, and all top prime and zoom lens.

Q: Do you also offer photobooth?

We only do the photo booth when there is 2 photographers hired for the day.
The cost is $500 for 3 hours of operation. This includes: unlimited prints, props and an attendant.

Q: What if I need extra or less hours other than the ones?

We charge flat rate of $200 per hour extra for the one or two photographers.

Q: What Is The Process In Booking?

The booking process for wedding photography is fairly simple 5-step process:

  1. Contact us using or contact form, email, or phone to check for availability and to confirm pricing for your wedding.
  2. Schedule a consultation in-person at our office, or by phone, Skype, or FaceTime if you’re from outside Vancouver.
  3. Ready to book? let us know and we’ll put together a booking quote and contract for you.
  4. Review the complete quote, details, and photography contract. When you’re ready, approve the booking online.*
  5. Pay the retainer of 20% deposit of the final amount to secure the wedding booking. Then two weeks before the wedding, we require the full payment of the remaining balance.

After the booking is made, you can always add products or other services, or even extend coverage as needed. We’re flexible and happy to help you meet your photography needs.
